You are invited to #mywildCanada’s #Twittercamp in Algonquin Park

Yes, it’s true!  It’s really happening.  A bunch of bloggers, fishermen and fisher-women, campers, canoers and just plain old nature lovers are going to meet up in Algonquin Park for a weekend of fun, laughter, learning new things and meeting new people.  And guess what?  YOU are invited.  Everyone is!

It’s all happening in Algonquin Park at Canisbay Lake campground over a 3 day weekend – September 27 to September 29, 2014.

We have people from all kinds of backgrounds coming already –

@man_camping and his party = 7

@Some_Eventful and family = 3

@levacas +1

@legendaryadven

@Paddle_In and family = 4

@CanadianVoyageurs  = 2

@DiscoverHockley +1
And we have a special appearance by @TTLastSpring – the ghost of Tom Thomson who will read to us by the campfire on Saturday night – stories which may include some of his mysterious death in Algonquin Park almost 100 years ago.

We are also participating in a fundraiser to raise money for CPAWS – Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society – please help us reach our goal of raising $1000 for this very worthwhile cause.  We have all kinds of incentives – please visit our #BigWildChallenge page on this website – link is at top of page.

We are gaining in numbers and there are still sites left at the park.  We even have a few extra spots for late comers if needed.  What are you waiting for, it’s camping time!

So come on and join us for a weekend of fun.  We will be canoeing, cooking, hiking – all kinds of outdoor activities will be enjoyed – we are getting off social media to socialize in person!  We’d love to see you there!

For more information please contact either @levacas or myself @CanadianVoyage on Twitter or email me at celinegerry@gmail.com.

Hope to see you there!
